Yep, this was a silly project...
This Summer I am thrilled to participate in and post our Summer Kid's Art lessons! For the month of June I will be(try, hee hee) posting our twice a week sessions (my kids plus a few extras, ages 5 - 8 years). We will be introducing and getting messy with various art mediums - mediums that are kid-friendly!
Oil pastels have rich, soft color, especially when used upon dark colored paper. They are not as messy as chalk pastels. Don't buy the cheapy brands either (splurge and buy student or artist grade quality- it's not just for kids (maybe I should say, oil pastels are especially for adults to use)...
